Know Your Customer (KYC) Policy
Last updated on: 07.08.2026
The Company adheres to and complies with “Know Your Customer” principles, which aim to prevent financial crime and money laundering through client identification and due diligence. The Company reserves the right, at any time, to ask for any KYC documentation it deems necessary to determine the identity and location of a user on https://wildroll.com. We reserve the right to restrict the service, payment, or withdrawal until identity is sufficiently determined, or for any other reason in our sole discretion based on the legal framework.
We take a risk-based approach and perform strict due diligence checks and ongoing monitoring of all clients, customers, and transactions. As per the money laundering regulations, we utilise three stages of due diligence checks, depending on the risk, transaction, and customer type.
1. Levels of Due Diligence
SDD – Simplified Due Diligence is used in instances of extremely low-risk transactions that do not meet the required thresholds.
CDD – Customer Due Diligence is the standard for due diligence checks, used in most cases for verification and identification.
EDD – Enhanced Due Diligence is used for high-risk customers, large transactions, Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and their family members/close associates, customers from high-risk jurisdictions, or other special cases.
2. When Full KYC Is Required
Separately, and in addition to the above, when a user makes an aggregate lifetime total of deposits exceeding EUR 5,000, or requests a withdrawal of any amount on https://wildroll.com, or attempts to or completes a transaction that is deemed suspicious, then it is compulsory for them to complete the full KYC process.
During this process, the user will have to input some basic details about themselves and then upload:
A copy of Government Issued Photo ID (in some cases front and back, depending on the ID document)
A selfie of themselves holding the ID document
A bank statement / utility bill
3. Sanctions and PEP Screening as Part of KYC
Sanctions and Politically Exposed Person (PEP) screening is an integral part of the KYC process and is carried out in accordance with the Company's Anti-Money Laundering Policy. As part of every KYC review, the following checks are performed before an account is approved:
The customer is screened against the EU Consolidated List, UK OFSI Consolidated List, Australia DFAT Consolidated List, UN Security Council Consolidated Sanctions List, and US OFAC SDN List.
The customer is screened against PEP databases to identify whether they, a family member, or a known close associate holds or has held a prominent public function.
Where a sanctions match cannot be discounted, the KYC application is suspended and escalated immediately to the MLRO in accordance with the AML Policy; no account approval or withdrawal is processed.
Where PEP status is confirmed, the customer is treated as high risk and the Enhanced Due Diligence measures in Section 4 below apply in addition to the standard KYC checks.
4. Enhanced Due Diligence for High-Risk and PEP Customers
In addition to the standard KYC documentation, customers identified as PEPs (or a family member/close associate of a PEP), or otherwise classified as high risk, must also provide:
A declaration and, where required, documentary evidence of source of wealth and source of funds
Confirmation of their public function or position (where applicable) and its expected duration
Any further identity, residence, or professional verification reasonably requested by the Compliance function
Approval of a PEP or other high-risk KYC application requires sign-off from senior management or the MLRO before the account is approved for full service, in line with Section 7 of the AML Policy.
